Interns are required to be pursuing college credit towards a degree.
My supervisor not only asked for my voice to be heard, but pushed me to scream from the mountaintops. I feel that every contribution I made as an intern had a positive impact, and it excites me to know that this is more to come.Darius, Therapist in Rockford
I had an amazing mentor during my internship who taught me all I needed to know about home visiting. I knew this is exactly what I wanted to do and that I could make a huge impact by staying.Elizabeth, Home Visitor in Bloomington
I was apprehensive about interning in the beginning, however, with the help of my team and my own growing self-confidence as a counselor in training, it turned out to be a great decision.Bianca, Partner Abuse Intervention Specialist in Rockford
What drew me to not only interning but seeking employment with the agency was the wealth of opportunities that the agency offers in working with diverse populations. I was also able to develop the foundational skills that I continue to use today.Keith, Therapist in Rockford
