Promoting the School Readiness of Young Children

Our Early Head Start and Prevention Initiative Home Visiting Program is designed to provide individualized services to pregnant mothers, infants, and toddlers, ultimately promoting the school readiness of young children from low-income families.

Brightpoint’s home visiting in Chicago helps parents understand child development and build everyday learning routines that support growth. Parents receive guidance they can continue using after each visit, along with connections to essentials and community resources. Home visiting also strengthens school readiness by helping families support cognitive, social and emotional development during the earliest years.
