Home Visiting
Healthy Start, Healthy Families
We connect families with resources that helps to strengthen their connections to communities and reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.
We connect families with resources that helps to strengthen their connections to communities and reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.
We provide in-home coaching and resources to families parenting children under age five, with an emphasis on bonding and social-emotional growth.
Our home visitors provide information on early childhood care, developmental milestones, and overall child and family well-being. Healthy Families works with families to ensure they are connected to medical, dental, mental health, and other community resources.
The cumulative effect of these efforts strengthens families and reduces the risk of child abuse and neglect.
Healthy Families is for first time parents. The program begins at the prenatal phase or before the child turns 3 months and is available until the child turns 5.
We work with parents to create safe, stimulating home environments by learning about child development, positive discipline techniques, and developing parenting skills.
