We offer Telehealth and in-home behavioral health services to children and families who have adopted through DCFS.
OUR PROGRAMS
We provide trauma-informed in-home and telehealth therapeutic services to families with children (age 3 – 18) who have been adopted or for whom guardianship has been awarded through DCFS. Our team works with families in 37 southern Illinois and 10 northern Illinois counties to coordinate services with other relevant providers, both within the agency and externally, and develop appropriate referral plans. Therapeutic services include family and individual therapy, group therapy and activities, caregiver psychoeducation/coaching, case management and advocacy. Respite includes mentorship and social skills building activities in the community.

Youth 0-18 and their safe caregiver who are in need of case management, individual counseling, play therapy, family counseling, and other therapeutic services who have been exposed to domestic violence. Family counseling to the child or youth and their safe caregiver to heal the attachment between them that may have been disrupted due to domestic violence being present. Individual counseling for youth and caregiver may be provided depending on the family’s needs. Working as a team with the Therapist, Case Managers offer support with stressors and barriers that families exposed to domestic violence may face. Therapy and Case Management services are offered in the family home, Brightpoint office, or in the community.
Community members and professionals have the opportunity to learn about Childhood Exposure to Violence through our training offered in-person or virtually.

Safe and Thriving Families is a violence prevention program for families with children (ages 6–12) who have experienced trauma within their community. We provide therapeutic services and referrals to other community providers for families living in Cahokia Heights, Belleville, and East St. Louis.
Preventative, community-based services for children ages 6-12 and their families to mitigate the impact of early trauma experiences. Services include eligibility screening, assessment and treatment planning, individual and family therapy, psychoeducation on the impact of trauma, case management and referral/linkage.

Our program provides secure housing, education and employment services, and the life-skills training necessary for lasting self-sufficiency. We offer counseling, individualized case management, and referrals to community providers for substance-abuse treatment, medical care, and dental care. We build relationships rooted in trust, empathy, responsiveness, and respect to protect and empower every young person.

Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services, or CCBYS, prevents at-risk youth (ages 11-17) from becoming homeless, being placed in foster care, or being involved in juvenile justice systems while supporting family reunification and stability.
We provide family counseling and crisis intervention for runaway, locked out, and homeless youth. Therapeutic support includes addressing boundary setting, conflict resolution, and stress management. Case management is provided to help connect youth to employment and education resources.
Services are included for eligible youth as well as crisis management in urgent situations.
