Support to Children, Youth and Families Exposed to Violence

Who We Serve

Youth 0-18 and their safe caregiver who are in need of case management, individual counseling, play therapy, family counseling, and other therapeutic services who have been exposed to domestic violence who reside in Champaign, Vermillion, Livingston, Logan, Ford, Mclean, and Woodford counties.

What We Provide

Family counseling to the child or youth and their safe caregiver to heal the attachment between them that may have been disrupted due to domestic violence being present. Individual counseling for youth and caregiver may be provided depending on the family’s needs. Working as a team with the Therapist, Case Managers offer support with stressors and barriers that families exposed to domestic violence may face. Therapy and Case Management services are offered in the family home, Brightpoint office, or in the community.

Community members and professionals have the opportunity to learn about Childhood Exposure to Violence through our training offered in-person or virtually.
