Our Child Welfare programs are designed to reduce the risk of abuse and neglect, help children and families make positive changes in their lives, maximize their potential, and improve their function in society.

Services are available in English and Spanish.

Child Welfare Counseling

We provide trauma-informed in-home, community-based, and limited telehealth counseling services to caregivers and youth of all ages, races, and cultural backgrounds.

We also facilitate therapy groups that address parenting stress and anger management.

And, our team partners with each family’s child welfare case manager to help navigate access and other community providers.

Virtual sessions are provided statewide.

St. Clair, Madison, Clinton, Washington, Bond, Randolph, Monroe, Jersey, Marion, Cook, and Winnebago

Our Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)

CPP is an evidence based, trauma informed therapy model for young children from birth to age 5 and their parents or significant caregivers. The service supports addressing children’s trauma symptoms, mood and behaviors. We provide guidance and counseling to youth of all ages, races, and cultural backgrounds. These programs reduce the risk of abuse and neglect, help children and families make positive changes in their lives, maximize their potential, and improve their function in society.

Services are available in English and Spanish.

Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP)

The NPP is a familycentered, traumainformed 16-week program for parents who have open intact cases, open DCFS cases, and pregnant or parenting teens who are involved with DCFS. We offer group and individual sessions, focusing on topics like positive interactions, healthy communication, family functioning, and nurturing parenting skills. We are sensitive to all cultural values, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Services are available in English and Spanish.
