Therapeutic Response with Intervention & Outreach (TRIO)
We provide youth in Winnebago County with mentorship, counseling, and referrals to other community service providers.
We provide youth in Winnebago County with mentorship, counseling, and referrals to other community service providers.
Youth may be experiencing mental health concerns, family stress, or life transitions that are impacting their functioning and life satisfaction. We partner with youth, families, and school staff to improve mental health, decrease problematic behaviors, and support family harmony.
This is a free program that focuses on utilizing a holistic approach to improve the quality for children and families.
Complete a program referral form for each child or family. Referrals can be faxed, mailed or emailed.
TRIO Family Advocates work one-on-one with youth to provide skill-building, social/life skills training, and psychoeducation to assist in reducing adverse stress symptoms that may interfere with youth’s optimal functioning in school, community, and home environments.
Additionally, Trio Mentors provide social-emotional support to participants and are an additional positive support in youths lives.
Participants and families will be involved in a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan goals will be identified, in partnership, with the participants and their families.
Services may include Family Advocacy, Case Management, Youth Mentoring; linkage and referrals to community resources, communication and collaboration with schools and other systems the child is involved in.
