Community based mental health program designed to provide therapy and case management to youth and families who have experienced multiple types of victimization.
We work with families and children (birth – 18 years old) who have experienced domestic or multiple forms of violence and are residents of Winnebago County. Families and children are referred through the Family Peace Center, community service providers, school personnel, or they can seek services on their own.
We provide trauma-informed counseling services and referrals to community providers for services like medical and dental care, temporary housing, and assistance with basic needs as well as collaborating with schools and other systems the child is involved in.
