The Parent Support services offered by Brightpoint are designed to recognize the parent’s unique and irreplaceable role in developing young lives. By educating and supporting parents, the incidence of child maltreatment is greatly reduced. 

When families stay together:

  • children function better socially
  • achieve in school
  • and are less likely to require social services in the future

These services are also proactive, designed to intercede and provide assistance to parents before issues become greater social problems.

Prenatal Services

Doula Program

We improve family health through prenatal visits, support during labor and delivery, and postnatal support.

Home Visiting

Stronger Beginnings for Families

We provide in-home coaching to expectant parents and families with children under three.

Early Start – Parents as Teachers

We provide in-home support and connections to those parenting children under age three.  

Healthy Start, Healthy Families

We strengthen families by providing in-home support and resources to those parenting children under age three.

El Hogar Del Niño Home Visiting

We collaborate with families to offer in-home support and establish connections for expectant parents and families with children from birth to three years old.

Illinois Pregnant & Parenting Youth in Care (IPPYC)

Connecting pregnant youth in care to voluntary home visiting in their community.

Southside Early Learning Network (SELN)

We link expectant mothers, fathers, and children (ages 0 – 5) with home-based early learning options in their area.

Parents Care & Share

We provide parents and caregivers with a safe space to discuss painful issues, learn new skills, and support each other.

Court-Related Child Care

We provide a safe waiting room for infants through 12-years-old during family court visits.

Coaching & Support Services

We offer families coaching, training and other support to assist in their success.

Emergency Child Care

We provide families with free emergency child care 24/7, 365 days per year

Family Visitation Center

We provide a safe environment for supervised visits between noncustodial parents and their children.
