Hay 20,652 niños en cuidado de crianza en Illinois.

Como uno de los mayores proveedores de cuidado de crianza del estado, Brightpoint se preocupa por más de 1,000 de estos niños y sus familias. Más que 80% of the children enter foster care due to neglect caused by poverty, mental health issues and substance abuse disorder. We can fix those things. Foster care traumatizes children, destroys families, and is steeped in systemic and racial inequality.

By addressing the root causes that cause families to become unstable in the first place, we can PREVENT the trauma that occurs when children are removed from the only family and home they know.

Over twenty years ago we started a charity golf outing to support the cause. We’ve held the event each year since. This year marks our 21st year! Desde 2013, the Lost Dunes golf event has raised more than $2 million to support Illinois children and families. We hope you can join us or lend your support this year!

Located at the southeastern tip of Lake Michigan in Bridgman, MI, Lost Dunes Golf Club is just a 90-minutedrive from Chicago. The 6,900-yard, par-71 course is built in the contours of a reclaimed sand quarry engulfed by 60-foot dunes.
