Safe and Supervised

the CVF offers a safe, neutral child-friendly site for supervised visits and exchanges for families experiencing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

The goal of the center and program is to provide a professionally monitoreado environment that allows interactions that can strengthen parent and child relationships, including a parent with visitation restrictions.

The center also allows the caregiver with significant decision-making responsibility, a chance to feel relief while going through their day, sin preocuparse por la ubicación de su hijo.

A quién servimos

El Family Visitation Center (CVF) proporciona visitation services for families who have experienced domestic violence, stalking, and high conflict separation who are not involved with the Child Welfare System.

If a family has been court referred to services, el CVF will file a court report on a quarterly basis.

Before a family can utilize FVC services, both padres must schedule and complete a separate orientation with the FVC Supervisor. El CVF will try to accommodate court orders based on scheduling availability.

Orientations can be scheduled by calling:

(309) 834-5206

Lo que proporcionamos

Other safety features include:

  • Separate and distinct entrances and parking areas for each parent
  • Staggered arrival and departure times
  • Security camera monitoring
  • Panic buttons
  • 2 way mirror

The FVC is a place where I knew I could drop my children off and they were safe for that time. Finalmente pude respirar por un momento.. Esto significaba que podía ir a la tienda sin mirar por encima del hombro.. Aporta normalidad y seguridad a las familias, and the children know they’re safe too. amy, Mom of two children

The Family Visitation Center was the recipient of the 2005 Program of Excellence Award from Prevent Child Abuse Illinois. En 2008, the FVC was presented the McLean County Bar Association Public Citizen Award, for significant contributions to the legal field.
