Children’s Home + Aid is proud to announce that the agency has been re-accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). The re-accreditation is the culmination of nearly 10 months of preparation. Children’s Home + Aid was first accredited by the COA in 1985.
The accreditation process involves a thorough examination based on recognized quality standards, of every aspect of our work, including every program and department. Accreditation involves everyone from our staff to board members and clients. The process consists of a comprehensive self-study, and a formal review process and site visits by the COA peer reviewers. Receiving COA Accreditation is highly prized and exemplifies that Children’s Home + Aid excels at caring for children and families we serve.
Per the COA team:
“COA’s program of quality improvement is designed to identify providers that have met high performance standards and have made a commitment to their stakeholders to deliver the very best quality services. COA is proud to recognize Children’s Home + Aid as one of these outstanding providers, and we wish you the very best in your continuing work with the individuals you serve.”
Reaccreditation signifies that Children’s Home + Aid continues to meet the quality standards set forth by COA. We embrace the accreditation process as a tool for analyzing how well-aligned we are with our organization’s mission and to keep us focused on achieving excellent results for the clients we serve every day.
Many thanks to our staff for their help and support during the entire re-accreditation process!
